Someone Gets A Tremendous Laugh Out Of My Existence.

I'm going to be a downer tonight folks sorry, if you want to feel good go to one of the last Blockbusters and rent Pee-Wee's Playhouse.
I've been to three doctors, been on three different medications, been some kind of sick for almost a year.
Nausea has been following me around for nine months and destroying what I love the most, food. In a time like this where I feel so hopeless I would normally turn to cake, but I can't any more. I haven't been in the mood to eat half of the foods that I once craved uncontrollably and then felt such satisfaction as I consumed it in seconds. I can't handle much more. I'm just going batty.

To cheer me up I'm going to introduce you to a band near and dear to my fragile heart,

Alright, alright that's enough. 

Ah, yes Pulp of Great Britain is one of my very personal favourites and will never ever ever ever get old. Pulp originally formed in 78' , but didn't gain popularity until the 90's. You might be thinking to yourself: WHAT POPULARITY? WHO IN THE HADES IS PULP? 

Well, I'll tell you why you pose that question:

The 90's were owned by Grunge and everyone was obsessed with these jokers. 

Britpop > Grunge

Anyhow there was still a hay day for Pulp and it began around 1994 when they put out His 'n Hers.

Before that in the 80's they were fucking strange. 

Then commercial success after a short thirteen years.


Then Different Class won the 1996 Mercury Music Prize.

Then Pulp got a little depressed and sexual.


And Jarvis.


Jarvis (as you might be able to tell from the videos) is an incredible performer. I love the way he moves. He also writes such clever lyrics. Listen to Pulp and try to listen without smirk on your face. He's a dirty fellow.

Jarvis being quite the ladies man ended up in a wheelchair trying to impress a girl. Performed a few shows in the chair!

Jarvis was also banned from the Brit Awards after he protested against a performance by the prince of pop.


After Pulp called a quits in 2003 Jarvis worked on a number of things. He was in HARRY POTTER. YEAH YOU HARRY POTTER FANS, PAY ATTENTION NOW.

And he did a few other soundtracks as well.

Then Jarvis put out two solo albums that have been well received by myself and critics.


Now there are rumors of a Pulp reunion this year, but I assure you they won't visit us in the United States. You know why? Because America chose Nirvana. Son of a Bitch.

Guess Who's Back

I'M BACK AGAIN LIKE SLIM SHADY. TELL A FRIEND.

Yes I am back. I loved my Winter break a little bit too much, my bed was a little bit too comfortable, I had a little bit too much fun, it was all too much. Now I'm back in school with my significantly smaller bed and its all less fun. But don't cry for me. There is one thing I have here: Netflix.

Netflix has helped me rediscover my love for...

I've thought it was extremely difficult if not impossible for girls to really pull off "cool" (don't get me wrong I am ultra go-women power enthusiast), but Veronica Mars's character is probably to closest I've seen to it. She's like House and Nancy Drew's spawn. It's a quick witted show and it keeps you on your toes. Veronica Mars was originally aired when UPN was still a network (can you even remember?) Unfortunately Veronica Mars was cancelled after three seasons.  They were robbed I say, robbed! and believe me I'm not the only one. However there is some talk about a movie. I doubt it will happen, but I hope it does (I also hoped for Krispy Kreme and that seemed to work).

And if you were wondering, that's totally the guy from Just Shoot Me.

Veronica Mars also has my heart musically. They use the Dandy Warhols "We Used To Be Friends" as their theme song and Courtney Taylor made a cameo.


Courtney's weird like that. Making cameos. Especially in Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen.
